My pet is also twelve years old as I write this article, and these specific treats are easy to break into smaller pieces which she can handle with ease.
What Do Smokehouse Dog Treat Customers Have To Say?
Well, I have already told you about one customer (Me) has to say about the Smokehouse dog treat. But what about others who have used these products with their own canines. Below is just a sample of actual users who have purchased these products from Chewy. Let’s take a look at some customer reviews regarding a specific product.
- Smokehouse Small Chicken Chips
As you can see, customers who have purchased this product recommend it at 94%. Rated 4.7 out of 5 stars, dog owners were pleased with the size of the chip, the crunch, and the fact that their dogs loved the taste. Those who gave this product a negative rating were concerned that the chicken was sourced and manufactured in China.
2. Smokehouse Beef Recipe Rolls
This is a treat that I have used with my own pet the last few years, and one that my girl seems to enjoy. The taste of beef is a big hit and I like them as they are easy to break into smaller pieces. Other Chewy customers who have used this product would recommend at 94% and contribute this to taste as well. The one customer dissatisfied (1 Star) didn’t care for the texture of this product.
3. Smokehouse 12″ Steer Pizzle Treat
Not a very popular product with this one. As you can see, out of 49 reviews, this treat only received a 65% recommended approval. Customers using this product stated that the product was too thin in size, and didn’t take long for their pup to finish the treat.
Where Can You Find The Smokehouse Treats?
According to the company’s website, their products can not be purchased directly but are available through Chewy and other online venues. For your convenience, I have a link to the three products mentioned above that will be delivered to your front door. Here you go:

Look guys, there are plenty of treats to choose from on the market today, some healthy and some not so much. In my opinion, the Smokehouse dog treats falls somewhere in the middle, where it depends on which specific product you choose.
As I mentioned a few times above, I have and still use the Smokehouse Beef Recipe Rolls with my own pet. She seems to enjoy these and it is great for me as a pet parent, allowing me to break each roll into smaller pieces. Everything in moderation, right?
Before deciding which treat would be appropriate for your pooch, take the time to read the ingredient label to make sure you are getting a healthy treat. Not all treats are created equally.

For those unfamiliar with dog food grain-free recipes, there has and is a controversy taking place as I write this article.
